Description

The Prussian Skeleton Hussars were deadly light cavalrymen with razor sharp sabres at hand.

These soldiers are clad in distinct black uniforms with silver ‘Totenkopf’ skulls on their Shakos and hats. Soldiers from these units were originally part of a volunteer unit formed by the Black Duke ‘Frederik William’ in the 19th century. Their purpose was to fight back against French domination in Europe.  As Hussars they were a class of light cavalry. They were used for scouting, reconnaissance and skirmishing.
