Description

Hardcase was a clone trooper assigned to the 501st Legion during the Clone Wars, serving directly under Anakin Skywalker and Captain Rex. He appears prominently in Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 5 during the Umbaran Campaign, one of the most brutal and psychologically complex arcs of the series. Hardcase was known for his impulsive nature, aggressive combat style, and fierce loyalty to his fellow clones.

Unlike more disciplined troopers, Hardcase often acted on instinct and emotion, which put him at odds with strict command structures. This trait became especially significant during General Pong Krell’s command of the 501st. Hardcase was among the first to openly question Krell’s tactics, sensing that the general was needlessly sacrificing clone lives. His distrust proved justified, and Hardcase ultimately played a critical role in exposing Krell’s betrayal.

Hardcase’s defining moment came when he sacrificed himself to destroy a massive Umbaran supply ship, knowing full well it was a one-way mission. His actions directly enabled the 501st to continue fighting and saved countless clone lives. This selfless act cemented Hardcase as one of the most tragic yet heroic clone troopers in the series.

This minifigure represents Hardcase in his Phase II armour, reflecting his later-war appearance. He fits naturally into Umbaran battle displays, 501st units, or Clone Wars character line-ups that focus on individual clone identities rather than anonymous ranks.

This Hardcase Clone trooper includes the following accessories:

  • 3 x unique clone weapon options
  • 1 x helmet with aiming visor
