Description

This minifigure depicts a German Oak B Camouflage Soldier, wearing one of the most distinctive field uniforms used by the Waffen-SS during World War II. The SS pioneered large-scale camouflage development, producing reversible smocks, helmet covers, and tunics in patterns such as Plane Tree, Pea Dot, and Oak Leaf (split into Type A and Type B). These designs were revolutionary, providing concealment in woodland, hedgerow, and mixed terrain — a sharp contrast to the plain field-grey of the Wehrmacht.

The Oak B pattern, introduced around 1941, featured irregular blotches of brown, green, and tan, intended to break up the outline of soldiers in foliage and fields.
