Commander Fox was the leader of the Coruscant Guard, an elite clone unit tasked with policing the Galactic Republic’s capital. Unlike battlefield commanders, Fox’s duties focused on internal security, prisoner transport, and enforcement of Republic law. He appears throughout The Clone Wars and Revenge of the Sith–era material.

Fox is a controversial figure among fans due to his strict adherence to orders and Republic protocol. He was responsible for overseeing high-profile arrests and was directly involved in the pursuit of clone trooper Fives when Fives attempted to expose the inhibitor chip conspiracy. Acting under direct orders, Fox ultimately killed Fives, an action that unknowingly ensured the success of Order 66.
