The Clone Shock Trooper was an elite unit of the Coruscant Guard tasked with maintaining order within the Republic’s capital. Unlike frontline units, Clone Shock Troopers served primarily as military police, riot control, and high-security escorts for prisoners and government officials.

Their distinctive red armour symbolized authority and discipline, making them instantly recognizable throughout Coruscant. Clone Shock Troopers frequently appeared in politically sensitive situations, including arrests, security lockdowns, and emergency responses within the Senate District.

Because of their proximity to Chancellor Palpatine and the Republic’s political centre, Clone Shock Troopers played a crucial role in the Republic’s transformation into the Galactic Empire. Following Order 66, they seamlessly transitioned into Imperial service, enforcing the Emperor’s rule and suppressing dissent.
