The Russian Line Infantry soldiers were the muscular arm of the mighty Imperial Russian Army.

Line infantry in the Russian Army are foot soldiers, expected to fire volleys of shot from musket walls at the command of the officer corps. Typically, the Line Infantry would fire 2-3 rounds per minute in a combined wall of fire, before each soldier then began firing at their own discretion. Volleys from lines of infantry were devastating due to a wall of gunfire demolishing opposing files of infantry and cavalry.
