Description

This minifigure-scale Karabiner 98k represents Germany’s standard service rifle of WWII. Adopted in 1935, the bolt-action Kar98k was chambered in 7.92×57mm Mauser and featured a 5-round internal magazine. Rugged, accurate, and reliable, it was the backbone of the Wehrmacht’s infantry forces.

The Kar98k had an effective range of 500 meters with iron sights and over 1,000 meters with optics. Weighing about 9 lbs, it was durable under battlefield conditions, though its slower rate of fire compared to semi-automatic rifles like the M1 Garand put German soldiers at a disadvantage.
