Description

The SS2-V4 is part of the SS2 rifle family developed by PT Pindad in Indonesia. Introduced in the early 2000s, the SS2 replaced the older SS1, which was based on the Belgian FN FNC. The SS2 series is chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO and designed for improved accuracy, durability, and compatibility with modern accessories.

The V4 variant is a shorter carbine version intended for special forces and urban combat. Its compact size makes it ideal for close-quarters engagements while retaining enough firepower for general infantry roles. It features polymer furniture, Picatinny rails, and folding or telescoping stock options.
